Double Bonus Poker Explained Online

Double Bonus Poker Explained Online

Double Bonus Poker is one of the many video poker titles available at online casinos, for players who enjoy the game of poker but aren’t interested in the complexities of betting and bluffing against other players at a table. Most of these titles are distinguished from each other by the details of their pay tables, as game play is fairly similar in all of them.

The incentive in Double Bonus Poker involves winning Four of a Kind combinations. Generally, all Four of a Kind prizes are the same in other video poker variations. But Double Bonus Poker splits the Four of a Kind wins into three categories: four Aces win a higher prize than four 2s, 3s or 4s, and they in turn win a bigger prize than the other Four of a Kind combos.

The Complete Double Bonus Poker Pay Table

Apart from these special prizes, the Double Bonus Poker pay table is quite standard. Players need a Pair of Jacks or better to win any prize at all, and a Pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces win 1 credit if the player is only betting 1 credit, but 5 credits if they are playing max bet. Max bet is always advisable, even if this involves a lower credit denomination, because the top prize is much more than 5X what it would be on a bet of only 1 credit.

Prizes rise according to the relative strength of the winning poker hands, ranked as follows: pair of Jacks or better, Two Pair, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind 5 to K, Four of a Kind 2 to 4, Four Aces, Straight Flush and Royal Flush. The corresponding prizes at max bet are 5, 5, 15, 25, 35, 50, 225, 400, 800, 250 and 4,000 credits.

Clear Layout plus Multi-Hand Options

Like the friendly interface of some wagering sites offering Android betting, the Double Bonus Poker layout is very simple: pay table at the top of the screen, the hand dealt in the middle, and the game controls below it. Players can use these controls to set credit values at 0.05, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 or 5.00. Of course, this is also where they set their bet at between 1 and 5 credits per hand.

Internet Double Bonus Poker

When the Deal button is clicked, the player gets five cards, and they must click on those they do not want to discard, then hit the Draw button. The replacement cards are dealt and any winning combos paid out. Certain online casinos also offer multi-hand versions of Double Bonus Poker. Players can bet on up to 100 hands at once, with identical held cards, but different sets of replacement cards drawn from the remainder of the same 52-card deck.

Gamble to Boost Low Wins

Like almost all video poker titles, Double Bonus Poker also includes a Gamble feature, which the player is offered after every win. They do risk losing the win if they accept the gamble, however, so it is advisable only to try their luck with low wins, in the hope of doubling or even quadrupling the prizes.
